The Horowhenua-K膩piti Rugby Union has taken the unprecedented step of threatening to cancel senior club rugby matches in response to escalating abuse towards match officials.
Club referees are all volunteers, and CEO Corey Kennett says there鈥檚 been a slow and constant downward spiral in the treatment of officials.
He joined Piney to discuss what鈥檚 led to the club taking such drastic measures.
