
Despite coalition partners Winston Peters and David Seymour expressing interest in backing out, Prime Minister Chris Luxon claimed it's for the best if New Zealand stays in the Paris Agreement.
The Prime Minister says he's committed to keeping New Zealand's rural sector supported and that leaving the agreement would 'punish farmers'.
He joined The Country's Jamie Mackay to explain further.
