A free trade deal struck between India and the UK is giving confidence to New Zealand's efforts.
The mutually beneficial agreement cuts import taxes and tariffs - and has been years in the making.
New Zealand officials are currently in India holding our own trade talks.
Prime Minister Chris Luxon says the UK deal is an encouraging sign.
