The third album from Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey, 鈥楢 Matter of Time鈥 represents a shift towards vulnerability and emotional expressiveness.
Her two earlier albums were heavily influenced by the 鈥楪reat American Songbook鈥, filled with her now iconic blend of jazz, classical, and pop influences.
鈥楢 Matter of Time鈥 is a look inwards, Laufey鈥檚 interest in seeing how she could draw out the 鈥渕ost flawed parts of [herself] and look at them directly in the mirror鈥.
