Miriama Kamo is a Christchurch-born journalist, author, and TV presenter of Ng膩i Tahu and Ng膩ti Mutunga descent. She鈥檚 spent over two decades telling powerful stories on Sunday and Marae, earning top awards for her work in current affairs.
She鈥檚 also a celebrated children鈥檚 author, known for her Matariki-inspired books, and co-founder of Kotahi Rau Pukapuka, a project publishing 100 books in te reo M膩ori. Miriama is a proud advocate for te reo, the environment, and social change.
She lives in Auckland with her husband Mike Dreaver and children. Together, they run Kia Hono鈥攈elping organisations connect with te ao M膩ori in meaningful ways.
