The Employment Court has rejected an appeal by state broadcaster TVNZ, over how it handled staff job cuts.听
E t奴 union alleged the broadcaster hadn't upheld a clause in its collective agreement - which vowed to support staff taking part in changes to workplace practice.听
E t奴 Negotiator Michael Wood told Heather du Plessis-Allan 鈥淚t鈥檚 a very significant ruing 鈥 it makes it clear TVNZ broke the agreement they had with staff.鈥听
Wood said 鈥淚t also means staff that were made redundant now have a very strong case to take significant personal grievances.鈥听
