A woman in the US state of Virgina has been charged after she gave her ex-lover a chilly bin containing a miscarried foetus.
On September 18, Makayla Haedt was arrested in Missouri for giving the man the chilly bin, according to the Daily Mail.
She reportedly handed the sealed box over to the man after they had spent the afternoon together, telling him, 鈥渉ere鈥檚 your kid鈥.
Haedt has been charged with first-degree harassment for causing the man emotional distress.
Her ex-partner reportedly told authorities the incident was 鈥渢he type of thing you see on the internet all the time, but don鈥檛 ever think it will happen to you鈥.
The 29-year-old reportedly showed no 鈥渟ign of remorse or anything鈥 when she left the red and white chilly bin.
Pulaski County鈥檚 Prosecuting Attorney has ordered her to undergo a mental examination before her court appearance on October 28.

Court documents show the pair had an on-and-off again relationship, resulting in Haedt鈥檚 pregnancy, but 鈥渘ever dated鈥.
In a text on September 17, she informed the man her pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, before picking him up to complete chores together.
He said he hadn鈥檛 believed Haedt when she previously told him she was pregnant as she was a 鈥渉abitual liar鈥.
The man called police after opening the box, telling the responding officers 鈥渢his is f**ked up, I鈥檓 sorry you guys had to see that鈥.
He said he was 鈥渟hocked and couldn鈥檛 believe she would do something like that鈥, having initially believed her remark was just a 鈥渃ruel joke鈥.
Though he thought the chilly bin likely only held drinks, he had asked a friend to keep him company while he made the disturbing discovery.
The foetus was taken to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital after officers confirmed it was human.
Haedt was convicted for felony assault in 2022 after she stabbed a different boyfriend in the state of Minnesota.
She was charged with additional misdemeanour offences on September 18, including one for resisting arrest.
