UPDATED 9:55pm:聽A strong earthquake has hit off the coast of Samoa this evening.
The 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck just before 9:30pm.
It follows a 5.6 magnitude quake in the same area earlier this evening.
It hit 213 kilometres southwest of Samoa's capital Apia, at a depth of 80 kilometres.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre says there is no tsunami warning in place.
