The man who failed to surface from a dive at Queen Charlotte Sound in Marlborough has identified as Michael Brown.
The 64-year-old's body was recovered yesterday evening.
Mr Brown lived aboard his yacht at Shakespeare Bay in Picton, and was formerly from Deborah Bay in Otago.
A post mortem examination will be carried out today.
