Fire crews have been called to a car fire on State Highway 1 on Auckland鈥檚 motorway.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand said two trucks were sent about 6.15pm and found the car well involved.
鈥淓veryone was out of the vehicle when we arrived.
鈥淲e have since extinguished the fire and left the scene.鈥
In a video sent to the Herald, a car could be seen on the side of the highway with its front wheels ablaze, spewing orange flames.
