Keep Our Assets is holding a silent protest at the Christchurch City Council meeting.
The group is against the sale of council owned assets.
The group also turned up to the council's last few meetings naming and shaming councillors supporting the sale.
Signs which read "Shame on you" and "Sell out" have pictures of mayor Lianne Dalziel, deputy mayor Vicki Buck and several other councillors.

"I'm not suggesting we're going to end up with fight clubs," he said.
"Private owners decide they want to cut costs, they'll probably lay off staff and cut back on all sorts of other features."
Murray Horton thinks its important for the council to maintain control of its works department.Ìý
