Two men have been charged with the cultivation of cannabis from a rural address in Hawke鈥檚 Bay after a pre-planned police search uncovered what they allege is a 鈥渟ignificant鈥 operation.
The search warrant was carried out at a Puket墨tiri Rd address northwest of Napier, situated near the Kaweka Forest Park, on Friday, August 22.
The police said they seized what they described as a 鈥渟ignificant amount of cannabis鈥.

Several patrol vehicles were seen heading back to town on Puket墨tiri Rd after 6pm on Friday.
The men, aged 33 and 44, are due to reappear in Hastings District Court on September 16.
