A body has been found in the Christchurch red zone.
Police said the death is unexplained and is under investigation.
鈥淓mergency services were called to Dunair Drive just after 6pm,鈥 said a spokesperson.
鈥淐ordons are in place on Dunair Drive between Brooker Ave and New Brighton Road.
鈥淢embers of the public can expect to see a police presence as the scene is investigated.鈥
