A video of two young men plunging into the waters under the Auckland Harbour Bridge has sparked serious safety warnings.
The video posted to Instagram did not show how the pair managed to scale the bridge before the jump, which is thought to have happened over the weekend.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) labelled the jump as 鈥渋llegal and dangerous鈥.
The stunt stunned social media users, with many confused about how they got up to where they jumped from in the first place.
鈥淲ow, you can get to there,鈥 one said.
鈥淪harks there,鈥 another warned.
A NZTA spokesperson said it was aware of the incident.
鈥淪uch activity is illegal and dangerous 鈥 pedestrian access to the bridge is strictly prohibited as it is part of the motorway network and is a hazardous area, and the potential for serious injury from such illegal access is high," the spokesperson said.
NZTA said access to the bridge was currently controlled by security fencing and electronic gates.

鈥淲e are reviewing security as part of the investigation into the incident,鈥 the spokesperson said.
The NZTA said it was investigating the incident and would pass any relevant information on to the police.
Police told the Herald they were not aware of the incident.
This safety warning comes after the Auckland Harbour Bridge was at the centre of some other dangerous antics.
Last month, an electric scooter was spotted casually riding over the bridge.
