A group of flood-prone Christchurch residents are feeling sick to their stomachs at the thought of going through another winter without protection.
The Christchurch City Council is seeking feedback on three proposed options to prevent flooding near the Dudley Creek area.
Jo Byrne said she is worried about how long it will take to implement a solution, because of the amount of landowners which will first need to give it the tick of approval.
"The option it actually goes to the red zone, actually has less private landowners, so that might be helpful for the area."
Residents have until Wednesday to have their say on the proposed solutions.
