A cordon remains across one of the main routes through Christchurch after a body was found in a Waltham Park this morning.
Ferry Road is still partially closed off as police work to identify the man found dead in Edmonds Park.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jason Stewart says they're speaking to a number of people, but they aren't actively seeking anyone else in relation to the death.
They want to hear from anyone who was in the area between 2.00am and 2:30am.
Diversions are in place.
