A child was hit by a truck in Christchurch this morning during the school rush.
Emergency services responded to the collision at Sparks Rd and Halswell Rd around 8.18am.
Hato Hone St John attended and a
Fire and Emergency crew responded to assist with scene safety.
Two patients were assessed at the scene, with one transported to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
Police received reports of one patient sustaining a leg injury.
