Residents of a Whangarei rest home had to be evacuated this morning after a threatening call was made.
Police were called to Shalom Aged Care on Mill Road just after half past ten.
Inspector Al Symmonds said the evacuation was only a precaution, and residents have now returned.
They're refusing to provide details of the call saying an investigation into the incident is ongoing and they've got positive leads.
