A 58-year-old man has died at an event in Wanaka today.
Police were notified about 9.30am, and part of Motatapu Rd in Glendhu Bay was closed for a short period of time.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
It has not been confirmed what event the 58-year-old has died at.
However, the Motatapu annual off-road race for runners and mountain bikers began today.
