Name suppression will continue for the man charged with murdering a Christchurch toddler.
Ihaka Stokes was assaulted over two weeks ago, leaving him with fractured bones and other non-accidental injuries.
Police believe either one or a number of violent assaults led to the 15-month-old's death.
The 22-year old murder-accused was grated interim name suppression last week.
It was to lapse this morning, but will now be argued when he appears at the High Court in Christchurch at the end of the month.
