UPDATED 2.27pm:聽Notorious anti-royalist Sam Bracanov has been fined 400 dollars for throwing a bucket of horse manure at John Banks.
The 79-year-old appeared in the Auckland District Court this morning and represented himself.
He admits throwing the horse manure but says it wasn't assault, it was revenge.
He disputes the cost of a fine he was handed while John Banks was police minister 20 years ago and was also cut off talking to Mr Banks on the radio 17 years ago.
The judge told him he had no feasible defence.
