Swelling support to stop the Ports of Auckland from going ahead with controversial extensions to Bledisloe Wharf has seen a massive turnout at a protest in Auckland today.
Auckland councillor Chris Darby says the crowds are growing as each week ticks by.
"Probably conservatively 1000. It was a long line on Quay Street today and it was a real cross section of people on the back of the 3000 we had just 50 days ago."
