The scene of a large bush fire west of Auckland is being monitored by a rural fire crew this morning.
Almost 10 hectares of bush near Huia was affected by the blaze.
Investigators will be out looking for the cause later today, and Fire Service spokesman Steve Smith says still one crew is on the scene.
Helicopters are also on standby in case the fire flares up again.
